Lexify (Lite version) got its first iTunes review from someone I don't know. fatkid311 says "Interesting app my friend. What can I look forward to next?" and gave it 5 stars. Thanks fatkid311!

So what is next? I have a list of possible ideas for apps. There are two in particular that I'm looking into right now:

My favorite idea at the moment is an app for making phone calls and reading text to the person being called. I think it'd be especially fun to use for prank phone calls. I'd really like to start this app right away but I'm still looking into the feasibility on the technology and pricing side. I know a way to do it but it requires using a third party server application that could cost a lot of money to support a high volume of phone calls. As long as there were only a handful of people making these calls at a time, it'd be fine (probably free). However, if the app got popular and there were hundreds of people simultaneously using the server to make calls, it could end up being very expensive--and likely not worth it for an app under $5. However, I am waiting to hear back from someone about the pricing on this.

Another idea I'm considering is an app for finding classified ads from an online newspaper. This idea also has its setbacks because the RSS feed I would be using doesn't contain everything I'd need to display for an ad. That would require scraping the site's HTML which could potentially change at any time. It's doable but I'd hate to have the app become useless until the next update just because a web developer changes the path of their image files for example. I'm also waiting to hear back from someone about a question I asked about getting some required info from the RSS feed. Unfortunately I don't tend to ever hear back from this site's webmaster when I've emailed them in the past.

Also, I'm hoping to use PhoneGap to develop this next app so it can be easily ported to other mobile platforms like Android.
